Canadian Mental Health Association Programs:

Housing First

This Housing First Program houses individuals in the program and then provides additional services as needed.

Seniors’ Outreach Program for Elder Abuse

This program works to identify the needs of seniors in abusive or potentially abusive situations and refer them to the appropriate agencies for assistance.

Youth Mental Health Outreach Worker

This program works to identify the mental health needs of youth. Through support groups, informal gathering and education, youth and those who work with youth now have an additional resource to help them navigate adolescence and understand the realities and impact of mental health for teens and young adults.

The POST Thrift Store

With a large assortment of clothing, furniture, collectibles, books and household items, The POST is Medicine Hat's premiere second hand store. Proceeds generated at The POST remain in the community and are used to fund CMHA programs and services.

Regional Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Education Program

This program provides suicide prevention services throughout southeastern Alberta including education, yellow ribbon program, information, support group and Regional Suicide Prevention Council.

Financial Administrator Program

The Financial Administration Program helps people learn the skills required to manage personal finances.
